During my trip to Patagonia in 2022, I had the chance to experience one of the clearest, most breathtaking night skies I’ve ever seen. Far from the city lights and under the vast southern sky, I spent hours photographing the stars in complete silence, surrounded only by the wind and the mountains.
This particular long exposure captures the Milky Way as it stretches horizontally across the sky, perfectly aligned with the galactic center in the direction of Scorpius and Sagittarius. It was a magical moment — seeing the structure of our galaxy so vividly.
Taking this shot reminded me of how small we are, and how beautiful the universe can be when we simply stop to look up.
